Open Enrollment Begins February 1

Posted by Elizabeth Egan on January 08, 2020

Per ISD Regulation 3131 regarding In-District Student Transfers, students and their parent(s)/guardian(s) may apply to transfer to any District school other than their neighborhood school during open enrollment through the month of February for the following school year.

In-District Student Transfer is only open to those students who are in good academic standing (no F grades and above 2.0 GPA), have satisfactory attendance (no unexcused absences or excessive tardiness), and/or have no severe, ongoing, or pervasive disruptive behavior incidents or repeated misconduct.

Please note, all District schools are closed for the 2020-2021 school year. Transfer decisions are made on a space availability basis at the elementary level and through the one in one out process at the secondary level. Thus students may apply but entrance cannot be assured. For more information, please visit the Open Enrollment and Transfers webpage.

For in-district students wishing to transfer out of district, and for students residing outside of the ISD boundaries wishing to transfer into the district, please contact Enrollment Coordinator Debbie Romano at romanod@issaquah.wednet.edu or 425-837-7010.
