State Conducting Student Transportation Survey

Posted by Elizabeth Egan on March 13, 2019

Occasionally, the Washington State Departments of Health and Transportation conduct a survey of parents across the state to learn about how students travel to and from school. This year, 12 ISD schools are among the roughly 500 who have been selected to participate in the survey. Parents of students at those schools may receive a phone call during April, May or June asking them to take the survey. The selected schools are:

  • Apollo Elementary
  • Briarwood Elementary
  • Cougar Ridge Elementary
  • Creekside Elementary
  • Endeavour Elementary
  • Issaquah Middle School
  • Issaquah Valley Elementary
  • Maple Hills Elementary
  • Maywood Middle School
  • Newcastle Elementary
  • Pacific Cascade Middle School
  • Sunset Elementary

The data gathered will be used to help improve student transportation, and all results will be anonymous.

However, if you do not want to receive a call, you can opt out in one of two ways:

  • Call the State Department of Health at 1-866-256-4654 and leave your phone number and school name.
  • Email with your phone number and school name.

The Department of Health does not have any parent’s name, so you must leave your phone number to be removed from the list.
