January is School Board Recognition Month
The ISD would like to take this opportunity to recognize our elected community members who give their time and energy in support of high-quality public education for our students. The Issaquah School Board earned its 10th consecutive Board of Distinction Award from the Washington State School Directors Association (WSSDA) in 2018 and has twice been named School Board of the Year by WSSDA in 2015 and 2017. “I truly believe that the Issaquah School Board is the hardest working school board in the nation,” said ISD Superintendent, Ron Thiele. “They put in countless hours of work and energy serving students, parents, staff, and the entire Issaquah School District community. Please join us in saying thank you to Directors Lisa Callan, Anne Moore, Harlan Gallinger, Marnie Maraldo, and Suzanne Weaver.
