Issaquah Middle School - Important Back to School Information 2019-20
Please remember the Issaquah Middle School Dress Code as you prepare for school during the Back-To-School Shopping Season. This information is available in the Student Planner.
A list of supplies your student will need for the 2019-20 school year.
Fall Sports include Softball, Cross Country and Volleyball. The first day is September 9. Intermural Volleyball will start the week of September 23. A paid ASB card and sports fee and all required forms are required before turning out for the first practice. Sports fees and student fines can be paid online. All students must have a physical exam dated after June 1, 2019. Sports fees for JV/V Volleyball and Softball may be paid after team cuts are made.

Student Class Schedules
Students will receive their schedule of classes on the first day of school.
Students will receive their Planner on the first day of school.
Lockers will be available prior to the first day of school. Students may get their locker assignment during Panther Days on August 20 and 21 and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Sixth grade students will be issued a new lunch account number. If a balance remains on their 5th grade account number, the amount will automatically be transferred to the new number. Please note that if you use MySchoolBucks.com to add money to your student’s lunch account, it will take 24 to 48 hours for the amount to appear in the student’s account.
8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10:20 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
We ask that students do not arrive on campus prior to 7:45 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays or prior to 9:50 a.m. on Wednesdays. Students are asked to leave campus after 2:55 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and after 3:40 p.m. on Wednesdays unless in a supervised activity.
After School Activities
IMS offers many different after school activities including sports, clubs and theatre. In order to participate, students must have a paid ASB card. Specific information will be announced on the DMQ. Please see the Student Planner for behavior, attendance and academic expectations.
Activity buses (with limited stops) are provided Monday through Thursday for students wishing to participate in supervised after school activities. Students must have an Activity Bus ticket. Tickets are available from supervising teachers and coaches. Activity bus schedules are available in the office and on our website.
Pictures will be taken on Friday, September 6, during the school day. Please have your student bring in the completed order form and a check made payable to Dorian Studios if you wish to order pictures. Forms will go home with students on the first day of school. All students are required to have their picture taken for the yearbook and their I.D. Card.
