Clark Elementary Brings Book Characters to Life with Pumpkin Project

Clark Elementary Brings Book Characters to Life with Pumpkin Project

Posted by Elizabeth Egan on 4 November, 2016

Continuing their annual tradition, students from every grade level at Clark Elementary decorated pumpkins during the month of October as their favorite book characters. Students were encouraged to use their imaginations through paint, cutouts, glue, or any other medium they wished to use. The only parameter was that the pumpkins not be carved.

Pumpkin characters, which were located in the Clark Elementary library, included Captain Underpants, minions, Harry Potter, Iron Man, Corduroy, various Disney characters, and more. Each pumpkin was placed next to its character’s book so visitors could see the direct inspiration for each project.
